Long Beach

Today was my sister's 15th b-day.  She really wanted to go to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach so we went.  It was ok.  I was using my brand new digital video camera.  After the aquarium we walked around the north harbor as the sun was setting over the ocean.  We stopped and took a harbor crurse.  It was ok.  It was night so it was nice to see the harbor at night.  It was alittle cold but we got real close to the Queen Mary.  There were lots of oil things in the harbor.  I had no clue that this was a big area for oil.

Wisdom Teeth

Well, it has been three days since I got my wisdom teeth out.  And boy is it alittle different from what I thought.  First I thought it was going to be painfull when I am getting them out.  Not really, the only painfull part was the shots that I was given to numb my mouth.  It took about 10 mins. to get all 4 teeth out once I was numb.  For the next few days I am eatting nothing but soft foods.  Now that is starting to get old real fast.  I have eatten to much fish this week, since it is the softest meat that I can have.  Today is going along find.  I have this strange taste in my month, which bugs the hell out of me.  Well, I have to go, I am going to finish making a movie from Christmas Day.

X-Mas Eve and Day

Well, lets start off with X-mas Eve.  This is the first time since I am born that we were not doing anything on X-mas eve since my cuz's went to portland to visit my oldest cuz.  But around 1:00 I got a call from Candice.  She hates shopping alone, and with no one else that was doing nothing on x-mas eve I went with her.  For 6 hours we drove around highland and redlands, buy last minute x-mas gifts for everyone.  At the end of the day, I bought a Starbucks for her.  I told her that was my x-mas gift to her.  Today, in the morning we just watched afew movies.  Then around 10:30 we opened presents.  My best gift was a VIDEO CAMERA!!!!! YEAH!!!  I took it to our family dinner at my Uncles house and filmed all of it.  Now I just have to learn how to transfer the video from the camera to the Computer, I think I have to read the book.  Which might take me a few days.  Tomorrow at 10:00 I go see my one uncle, who is my dentist, and I get my wisdom teeth out.  I might now be on for a fe

In a cage

Sometimes I feel Traped, almost as if Im in a cage, here in the Inland Empire of Southern California.  I wish I can just leave when ever I feel like it.  Do what ever I want, do the things that I love and to be with the people that I love.  I sit here everyday in front of this computer, thinking.....when am I going to leave this place and set flight to do what ever the fuck I want to do.  Yeah there are a few things I love like 4-H, but that is nothing.  I sit here sometimes thinking that I am usless and that I will be stuck here, along, not being able to be with anyone, to have fun.  I am here for at least 2 1/2 more years.  After that this cage will open and I will take flight out into the world, away form the Inland Emipire.  Will be able to be with my friends when ever I want. And go explore, start driving with out knowing where the hell I am going.  And I can't get lost.  How are you lost if you don't know where you are going.  All my friends are going to be moving on, whi

18!!!!!!!! At Last

Image
Well, Yesterday was my 18th birthday!!!!!.  It was ok, I really didn't do anything.  My plan was so to to my friends b-day party who turns 18 the day after I do. LOL    We are going to do something for my b-day but not saturday, I have to work, so I can't go to my friends party because of it.  Damn Christmas Tree lot.  This is my last weekend working there, I hope.  My dad also works there and he cut his finger there so he is right now in the hospital getting stiches.  I have no clue what I want to go for my b-day but I will find something to go to and have fun.   I AM 18!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Press Interview and Trees

Yesterday was a big day.  Like always it started with school. And I got to tell you, school sucks!!!  After school I went home and got ready for a Press Interview about 4-H for the Redlands Newspaper.  Another member and myself were interview together.  We both have been in 4-H for 12 years now.  It was ok, other then the fact I though I talked to much. LOL.  We found out that we are going to be on the FRONT PAGE of the CHRISTMAS DAY Newspaper.  This is the biggest thing I have ever seen for 4-H in a newspaer.  After the interview I went home for a few seconds then went off to work at the Christmas Tree lot.  It was very cold and windy.  It sucked.  I have to work there this evening again.  It just is not all that great out there.  The things I do in 4-H.

AVID Field Trip/X-Mas Trees

Today we had an AVID Field Trip to Cal Polly Pomona.    When I first got to school I found my friends and he chilled awhile to wait for the charter busses.    We got on the bus and headed over to the college, which was only around a 45 minute ride.    The busses had no clue where to drop us off.    First thing we did is take a group photo on a green hill.    Then we went to the student union type of place to have a 90 Min tour of the campus.    The campus was ok but the hills got a little tiring after a while.    The campus dorms were ok, the building where kinda cool.    For lunch I had Round Table pizza with my friend jeff, Noelle ate with us too but she had subway.    We ate outside and there was a light rain.    To me it felt like  Monterey  or somewhere in  Northern California , It was nice.    After lunch my friends and I played pool and then we went back to school.    But our teacher though we can stay a little longer at Cal Polly so my bus left just as we got to school so I had

Christmas Tree Lot :|

Last night I worked from 6 to 9:30 at a Christmas Tree lot in Bloomington.  Our 4-H club and another is working the entire thing.  I first get there and there were only 4 other people, there where around 200 x-mas tree we where just untiying the string that held the branches.  Then a huge truck came and we found out that there were 600 x-mas trees that we needed to unload.  For the next three hours we unloaded trees.  Some where 5 pounds and most were around 25-75 pounds.  At first it was not that bad but as the night progressed then it got real hard and the pain began to set in.  When I got home my back and sholders where in pain.  Today at school it was alittle hard to work on classwork since my entire arm and sholders where in pain.  Right now it is getting better but I still feel some pain.  I wil get better do.

The past two days

These two days  have been just so tiring that I am not really looking forward to the nest three days without school   The 23rd was the day I was going to begin finishing up my college application and to just sit back and relax.  But that is not how the day went.  Since we were having Thanksgiving at my aunts house my sister and I had to go help clean up the house.  So my mom takes us and then leaves us there to work.  So I vaccumed, clean bird cages, and work on the table.  That was it......nothing else to do and we just sit there doing nothing, bored as hell.  Later on our window broke, which is the second one to break in the past week. Today, Thanksgiving, was ok.  In the morning I played video games and got ready for lunch.  We got to my aunts to eat at 11:00 but we didn't eat until 1:00.   It was ok but once again there was nothing to do until then.  We ate and started to see Star Wars III but had to stop because my mom wanted to go home.  So ok.  Then I went to Riverside to my

Today in a nut shell

Today has been a big day for achievements.  First the day starts out turning on my computer and began e-mailing.  Today is the begining of the final plans for a conference that I am in charge of, called Teen Involvement Conference.  After that I began working on a technology known as Geographical Information Systems.  I created my first map on ArcView.  It is a map of all the 4-H county offices in the state of California.  This is the beginning of me stepping to one of the biggest technologies in the world.  Later on in the day I went to see the movie "The Legend of Zorro".  It was good but qualitiy of the screen was terrible.  But the movie was good.  Well that is all that is going on today.  Tomorrow is homework and it is one of my best friends 15th birthday.

Monterey Bay with Photos (Photos posted on original blog)

This last weekend I was in one of the most beautiful place in the state of  California ,  Monterey  bay.    I left Friday morning and few up to San Joes with my mom.    We met up with other 4-H leaders.    We went in two rental cars down a 1 ½ hours drive to  Pacific Grove   City , located at the bottom of the  Monterey   Bay .    We attended a conference for 4-H leaders and since I am a State Ambassador I was able to attend.    I was also there for the computer corps.    My room faced the bay and the forest goes strait to the ocean.    I have wanted to live here for many years.    I lead two different workshops, one on GIS/GPS and the other on Digital Photography.    As a State Ambassador I was the person leading the closing assembly.    There were lots of raccoons and deer all over the place.    I have sunset photos from the beach that I took.    We stayed at the  Asilomar   Conference   Center /  State Beach .    It was just too beautiful.

A day in Davis

Yesterday was a very big day for me.    I flew up to  Sacramento , yes again, for a meeting to select youth to represent the  California  4-H at the 2006 National 4-H Conference.    Steven Worker, our Program rep, picked me up from the airport and we went to pick up a friend of mine, Cindy.    After that we went to Safeway, which is Vons down here, and got ice.    Cindy was hungry so Steven was nice to take us to In & Out.    We finally made it to the State 4-H office where the meeting lasted from 1:00 to 5:00.    After the meeting I really didn’t want to say at the airport for three hours so I went to Steven’s Apartment.    That night he was having a party so I helped set up.    I say his costume for the party and it is a fairy costume.    It was so funny. I really found out that Steven is not that good of a cook and he doesn’t take care of his fish.    His room mate, Allison, who is on the Computer Corps, does the cooking and the taking care of his fish.    It is so funny.    Ste

This week has been hell

Hey everyone,     It has been awhile.  I have been real busy this past week.  First last week I got sick and had to miss school last Friday.  Which Friday night I flew, once again, to Sacramento for 4-H Stuff.  After I got back school started up again and I was still sick but I had to go.  Tuesday was a 1/2 day which was night so I can work on make up work.  Thursday the bus broke down and we had to go on one of those little busses for the retarded kids.  It sucked because it can only go about 20 mile per hour.  It was so slow.  OMG, this bus had seat belts and I had to wear them.  The bus driver made us.  I have never ever been on a bus with seatbelts.  And this bus also had child car seats.  I hated that bus so much.  Today is friday and I am missing school once again but not because I am sick, but because I am flying up and back from Sacramento for a meeting at UC Davis from 1-5 pm.  I am on the California Selection Committee for National 4-h Conference.  I will be chosing in 4 hou

Awards Night

Image
Last night was the  San Bernardino   County  4-H Achievement Night, our awards night, and it was held at the San Bernardino County Fair Grounds in Victorville.    The dinner was really good, roast pig.    For the awards night I was one of the color guard which was ok.    Below are the awards that I received:           County   Winner : Computers           County   Winner : Sr. Member Achievement           Sectional  First Place  Winner in Computers           State  First Place  Winner in Computers           Cluster Award           Purple Strip for All-Star I got a lot of awards last night.    It was fun.    One thing was missing, a friend who has been at this awards night ever since I was in 4-H 11 years ago.    Two of my friends, who are sisters, moved three months ago to  Alabama .   Last night was a special night because we did an entire presentation for the family and video taped it.    It was really nice and this is the second to last Achievement Night for me.

Car Wash

As most of you all know I am in 4-H.  Our local Redlands Club just had a Car Wash yesterday behind the starbucks on Orange Street, Redlands, CA.  The car wash was a donation type of thing for the families of Katrina and Rita Hurricanes.  We made $330.00 for those families.  That is going to help someone alot.  The car wash was ok, I got a little sunburn but it was for a good cause.

Freedom!!!

Well, tonight my mom and sister fly off to Ohio for NJHA, which is some conference where 4-H'ers go.  For once it is something that I am not going to. lol.  I was cleaning up some file on my computer and I found this photo of me, my current profile photo, pretending to hit a notebook computer with a pool noodle.  If you really take a look there are five notebook computers.  I was in the middle of getting them ready for a workshop on Photoshop to alot of adults which is not a really fun thing because it seems like adults have lots more problems with computers compaired to us youth.  This week has been ok.  I was not feeling good yesterday due to heart burn.  I think it was some cookies that I ate.  I am just getting ready to go to school so I can order my class ring, I was going to get it last year but I wanted a notebook computer and so I got it instead for my b-day.  I just found out today that my friends house was really close to having her house burn down from the first fire of

Friends Life in Danger

I call this friends life is in danger because I have two friends who's houses are in the area of one of the wildfires going on here in California right now.  There entire life is in there house.  They have not been home since before the fire started and the only thing they have are there school stuff because the fire started during school.  It has been three days and the fire is real close to there homes.  I hope nothing happens.  It would be real sad for them to lose there house.

AHHHHHH! Fire season is here Run Away

This morning was the first day of the Santa Ana Winds that hits southern California every year which means a high fire danger.  Well, there were already two wildfires in the area, one by my school, which is still buring, and another one on Highway 38 AKA the back way to the mountains.  Since all of the rain that we here in California got stuff grew and died which means we might have lots of fires.  I just hope it will not turn out the same as the 2003 October Fires.  That was just way too bad.

Computer Building?

I have been bored, Which doesn't happen much. I have a laptop computer but I want a better system when I start going to college and really getting into lots of other stuff.  I was looking into building my own computer.  The only this that is an issue is the money.  I might use up my Birthday money and Christmas money to start working on building a computer.  I have to be crazy to think about building my own computer but I guess in a few years when I get a job I can build my own computer.

UC San Diego and La Jolla

Yesterday was a very busy but fun and beautiful day.  I am a State Ambassador for 4-H and we were meeting at UC San Diego, which is the location for a conference we are planning in August.  OMG, That campus is so effing beautiful.  I fell in love with it right away.  Now I know where I want to go to college after Crafton Hills.  WOW.  I love it sooooo much.  After the meeting We drove around La Jolla, which is north of San Diego.  It was beautiful with all the cliffs and the beaches below.  After I said good bye to my friends at the airport my dad and I drove up the coast duing the sunset and that was a sign.  We stoped in San Clemente to eat at this pizza place called Sonny's.  Every time we are down there we eat there.  There pizza is one of the best I have ever had.  It was great.  After that we drove home and got home arounf 11:00.  Today once again I am back here at home sitting infront of the computer and later doing homework.  Not that much fun.

Wanting to get out

Right now I am just sitting here thinking why am I here in front of a computer.  I should be out having fun.  It is a friday.  Have fun with your friends or go out to do something that you love.  I wish there was a way that I can get out.  Most of the time my friends don't do anything on the weekends and when they do I can't go because my parents say I can't or I have something else to do.  Some day when I get a car I will go over and have fun with my friends.  Even if it means I have to drive two hours to get to where they are.  I want to get out of this house and go to the places I love like the beach, or to starbucks even, lol.  Monday when I come back to school I hear people talk about where they when on the weekend.  The only place I find my self on weekends is flying to Sacramento and going UC Davis for 4-H stuff.  Someday I will be free to leave when I want to but for now I must sit here and be a loser.

Love so far away

For many years in the past I have wanted to find the perfect girl for me.  With me traveling and meeting many people I have fell in love with two different individuals.  The only thing is that they live over 300 miles away from me and there is no chance of me getting with one of them because they are already taken.  It has been a long time to search for the right one's and now that I found them there in no way.  With me turning 18 this december it will be illigel for me to be with these two sepecil people.  Every day when I am bored I go back to the passed when I was with either two of them having fun.  The bad thing was I didn't do anything with them like telling them how I feel when I was with them and now it is possible I wont see either ones for 5 to 20 years.  So for now I stay silent until the day comes where I will be able to be with one of them or find someone else.

Mother Nature's Light Show-Thunder Storms

Last night starting around 6:30 was the first wave of Thunder Storms in Southern California.  It has been 6 years since our last Thunder Storm.  I was outside BBQing when it started.  It was so beautiful I stayed outside to look for one hour.  Then at 2:00 am I woke to the entire house shaking to a lighting bult that hit real close to the house.  From then to 5:30 I was up looking out of my window towads Redland, California Where the best Mother Nature Light Show took place that I have ever seen in California.  The next day sucked because it was very humid and yucky.  I wish we can have more storms like that.  It really has been 6 years since the last one.  Who know how long it will be until the next one.

My love for Photography

It has been about one year since my last photoshoot with photography.  I sit here some times and think when am I going to get back out into the world and continue taking my best photographs.  Someday, "when I get a car", I will be able to travel around this world to capture what is left of this beautiful Planet that God has created for our enjoyment.  But for now I am stuck here with nothing to do but homework, 4-H work, and go to School.

The great and Mighty Sacramento

For those of you that don’t know I travel to UC Davis right outside of  Sacramento  for many 4-H business.   This weekend I am here for the  California  4-H Computer Corps meeting and I was ok.    Yesterday we worked all day on our projects and had some fun.    At the end of the day we went to eat at Applebee’s which was fun.   I think some of the group had a little too much to drink ;).    Then we went back to the state office where we played network games and went to sleep at 2:00 in the morning.    Today the only thing that we are going to be doing is selection the new members of the team and also saying goodbye to the one that are leaving.

The week so far

This week was the first week of school.  Everything was just about the same.  I am going to love my Digital Art Class.  Most of the things that we are going to do I have done already which will be nice.  Working on Photoshop is great because I can learn more advanced stuff and work on things like that here at home.  One new thing is that they will be teaching Flash this year which is a animation program.  There are just a handful of people who know the last time I tried to do flash in Omaha, Nebraska with the National Technology Team in 4-H.  LOL.  That was funny.  But this time I hope it will be better.  The only thing I don't like about the class is that I have to use a MAC.  EWWW.  I hate macs.  O well, I will live.  Other then that, everything seems to be cool.  Everyday this week I have been on the bus it has been late to school and my Chemistry Teacher is going to get a little mad if that doesn't change.  We are paying $200.00 for the bus, I hope this changes because I ca

First Day of School

Image
Well, the first day of school was not that great.  First I got to school 20 mins. late because my bus was late,  Since we are paying $200.00 for the busses this better not happen again.  Then I got home 30 mins. after they said I would be home.  That makes me mad also.  30 mins is alot of time when you have homework to do.  Other then that it was ok, just a little boring hearing the same thing from all six teachers all day.  And what sucks is that I had homework from all but one class.  0 What!!!, 06!!! YEAH!!!

One small step into a larger world of technology

Image
Today was when I took my first small step into a larger world of technology.  I began to really learn ArcGIS.  This is a program ,that cost $1,500, built by a world wide company, which the headquaters is in Redlands on New York Street, to build maps on the computer.  I will be working with this technology in a 4-H project.  I will be working with the National Park Service and other orginizations to map weeds that are growing at a fast pace to Joshua Tree National Park.  This weed is a threat because of a fire danger.  Once a fire happens in the desert it can take 15 years for all of the native plants to grow back due to the lack of water.  A fire will turn that part of the desert into a waste land.  I will continue on learning all these technologies on the computer.  This is not a easy technology, I am right now learning a technology that you would learn at a college level and you have to get a masters into to really get good at this technology.  If I continue on with this learning I w

This year's School Schedule

What sucks is that school is only 5 days away.  Here are the classes I will be taking this year. Per 1: Chemistry A- Toth Per 2: Algebra II- Porter Per 3: AVID- Baily Per 4: Economics- Beaumont Per 5: English-Brand Per 6: Digital Art-Valentine Well, it looks like this year is not going to be a great year.  I can't wait for Digital Art Class because I love working on Graphic Arts and I would love to learn more.

Sitting here all day

You know, many people ask me how can I work all day long on the computer.  Well most of the time I love working on the computer.  But some days I will be sitting here thinking why am I here, why can't I just leave the house and have some fun.  I wish I had that type of freedom to leave and have fun with my friends.  I just can't because my parents just think I have better things to do then have fun.  Someday when I get a car I will be able to leave the house more and have more freedom and fun with my friends.  School is coming around and it looks like there will be no more fun for the summer which sucks.  But I will live on and someday I will have fun with my friends that I go to school with.

State Winner in Computers

I just found out yesterday that I won the 4-H State Project Compotition in Computers.  We also went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner for winning that compotition and for my uncle's 50th birthday.  It was not that bad.  It took us only 10 mins. for all 9 of us to get seated.  That is not bad at all.

So Damn Bored

I am so fucking bored I have nothing to do, this entire month.  Because I have been bored I have cleaned my room as well as orginize it.  I have never done that in my life.  I am also learnig HTML which is going to take a long time but o well.  I hate just staying here at home all fuckin day.  My dad goes to work and my mom just wants to stay here and do nothing.  I love to go and have fun, The summer is almost over and I am stuck here.  Now I am wishing I am in school to ge the hell out of this house.  It just pisses me off so much.  My parents don't let me leave the house all the time to go hang out because they think I have work.  That is so fucked up, when I have work that is not needing to be done until next month.  It is also fucked up that they have not let me get my Driver's License.  They think I am too busy to even think about driving.  I am almost 18 and I have no way to see any of my friends then school.  If I drove I would always be at my friends house or somewhere

Lake Arrowhead

Today my family, not including my sister, went up to Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino Mountains.  At the village we ate at this really good Resturant called the Belgium Waffle Works.  It is the best.  This was the first time in years that I see the lake filled with water.  Before all the rain we had in the winter the Lake was around 40 feet below normal and it was bad.  I sat on a rock behind some trees to look at the lake.  It was very Beautiful with all the Clouds over the lake.  The weather was also very nice, around 70 degrees which is better then the 100 degrees down here in Highland.  Tomorrow I go to school and pick up all my text books and school ID.  The summer is coming to an end and I am not ready for the summer to end.  O well, I will live.

Right after SLC

Image
Well, Now I am writing about what happened after SLC.  The next day on Monday, Jess, Emily, mymom, sister, and I went to San Francisco to have some fun and to show Emily a part of California.  To get to San Francisco we went the long way intering the city by the Golden Gate Bridge.  Then we went to Point Lobos.  This was the first time she ever saw the ocean.  After Point Lobos we went to Lambard Street.  Then we cept on going to Coit Tower, then to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf and last Ghuri. Square, I have no clue how to spell.  Then it wsa time to leave the city and we drove though China Town, kinda, and went home from the Bay Bridge.  On the way back to Davis we stoped at Chevy's Mexican Food to eat dinner.  The next day we went to the Jelly Belly Factory but the line would take a year to get though so we just went shopping at the shop there and went back to davis.  Packed up, said goodbye the Emily and Jess, then drove to the Sacramento airport and flew home.  Until late

4-H State Leadership Conference

On Wed. August 3rd I flew to Sacramento for the California 4-H State Leadership Conference.  I flew a day before the conference so I can be with one of my best friends from the state of Indiana, named Emily.  I flew in 30 mins before her and met with her around 35 mins later after I landed in Sacramento.  Then we travel to UC Davis only 15 miles away.  For that night we were staying at a friends house who attends UC Davis.  So we went to the house to drop off our bags and go suprise our friend, named jess, at work to see if we can go out to lunch.  We went to the silo, which is a eatting place for the college students.  Afterwards Jess had to go back to work so Emily and I went back to Jess's House and test out her wireless internet on our computers.  About one hour later another friend that goes to Davis, Cindy, came around and took us to the campus so we can help out with the conference set up.  Emily went to help place things in the delegate's rooms while I helped out cook

San Diego-----so far

I am right now still in San Diego and the weather is great.  I have almost killed people on some bike thing, meet lots of new friends and now I am going to the beach with people who has never seen the ocean, it is a great place.  I recommend everyone to go to the beach.

Some fun in San Francisco

Image
I just came back from a fun weekend and meeting new and old friends in San Francisco for a 4-H State Ambassador Meeting.  On the first day I flew to Oakland Airport, which I really didn't like because there was nothing to do there.  The first night all of the State Ambassadors walked out to the beach in the middle of the night.  And boy was it cold.  It is always windy and cold.  The only thing I packed was shorts.  lol.  I am a spoiled Southern Californian  .  After our 10 min. listening to the waves of the beach and dying from the cold we went back to play Monopoly from 9:00 pm to 1:00pm.  I got 4th place with is good for me.  Our goal was just to beat Steven, which you can see him under cool friends/people.  The next day we had meetings untill 3:00pm.  Then we all went to ride the ferry over to Pier 39, in San Fransico.  We ate at this fancy Seafood place, which was very good.  Since Steven liked Monopoly so much we found a San Francisco monopoly game.  It was very cool.  The Fe

Traped

I sit here everyday, in front of my computer, just thinking about life and always looking out the window.  Just wishing that I can be like everyone else, have the freedom to go where there heart takes them and to be with the ones they care about.  It's just me and the computer, with the basic problems of life,  And I deal with all of the people here in Southern California.  There is no other place that almost everyday some harmless person gets killed, from San Deigo to Los Angeles, to local here in the San Bernardino basin.  From teens driving unsafe to all the bad areas, it is just no longer safe to live down here in the southern California, One of the best places to be year around in the United States. I just want to get out of this fuckin area.  Get away from all the people.  It is the people that will always harm some other persons life.  I want to live in the beautful landscape of Monterey Bay, California.  Even with some people it is not like the Inland Empire of California
