The night of the Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Redwings Ice Hockey Game

I went with my cuz, Amanda, to the Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Redwings Ice Hockey Game at the Honda Center in Anaheim. With the game starting at 7:00 pm, we decided to leave from the farm in Yucaipa at 4:00. We got into Anaheim at 5:30 pm, took awhile due to lovely California Traffic, and we we wanted to look for dinner. Right across the river from the center is a movie theater with restaurants, We found a mexican restaurant called Acapulco to have dinner.

When we first arrived at Acapulco Mexican Food, we where able to get seated right away, which was great because we needed to get to the game. She took an order for drinks, my cuz had a beer and I ordered a Raspberry Mojito. We where just chilling, and we where out on the patio, so it was nice. While we where waiting for the drinks, chips and salsa came, and it was awesome. While eating the chips and salsa, we started to notice that there where a lot of people there that are going to the game. About ten minutes passed, and we finally got our drinks, and we where able to take our order for what we want to eat. Five minutes after we ordered, we ran out of salsa, and was getting low on chips. It took them 15 minutes to get more salsa, but they didn't even get us more chips, and we ran out in 5 mins. So we waited, and waited, talked, drank our drinks, and waited some more. We started worrying that we would miss the beginning of the game. The clock when from 30 mins till 7 to 25, then 20, then 15, and finally 10 mins before the game started we finally said forget it. We where waiting for 45 mins after we ordered food, and still nothing. We told the server, and she said she was sorry, they are extremely swamped in back. She said that we can leave and we wouldn't have to pay for our drinks. (Which was great since that Mojito I had was $7.00) Right as Amanda and I got up from our seats, the food came, and we said we don't want it, and we left. So we had alcohol, chips, and salsa, which we where starving as we got to the restaurant.

Amanda and I decided to leave the car parked right where it was, and walk to the center. We got there, got in line, thank god we had our tickets, and went though security. So as I start taking things our of my pockets, I totally forgot I had a knife in my pocket, and I was like OH SHIT!!! Luckily, Amanda was able to hide it in her purse, and the dude that looked into her purse didn't notice it. We sat in the 400 sections of the center, in a D row, so we had a good view of the ice and the players. Right as we find our section, they where just finishing up the national anthem. We made it for the start. 3/4 of the stadium was full, which is a shit load of people. It was really nice, we where able to feel the cold from the ice, and after a day in the 80's, it made it really relaxing. The Ducks had a great start, but lost it at the end of the game. The ducks lost :( The Ducks got 3 and the Redwings got 4. It sucked.....I totally wanted them to win. The game was 3 hours long, but it only felt like we where there for only 30 mins, the game went by real fast.

After the game, we walked back to the car, and headed off. We started looking for a Del Taco, because we still wanted mexican, but now needed fast food, cuz we left anaheim at 10:00 pm. We found one in down town Riverside, and they where open on the inside so we go in. Amanda orders a Bean and Cheese Burrito, and then the lady says that they are out of beans. That just sucked balls. So we decided to look for another Del Taco. We kept looking for them, but forgot where they where in San Bernardino and stuff. We get to the one by the Yucaipa High School, and we get though the drive threw. This Del Taco is supposed to close in 7 mins. The lady comes on and says they can't take our order because they decided to shut down their computers early. We left, and as we left, we where totally pissed and hungry. We decided to drive up to the Del Taco that is in uptown Yucaipa. We get to the order place in the drive threw, and sit there for like 5 mins. No one answered, which means they where closed, and that pissed us off even more. WTF!!!! WE WANT SOME MEXICAN FOOD!!!!!! I finally say, well we can still try Bakers. Now I love Bakers, so it is awesome, my cuz isn't too fond of it, but she is willing to try it since Del Taco is closed. We got to bakers, and IT WAS OPEN....FUCK YEAH. Bakers has never let me down, and this just adds to the list of AWESOME at Bakers. We got our food, and ate at the farm.

I finally got home at midnight. And I went to bed. I did have a great relaxing time, but for some strange reason, someone didn't want us to have mexican good...... Bakers was our savior. YUM Bakers.
