The Adventures of John and Jess

This past weekend has been one hell of an adventure with one of my friends that I met in 4-H, but moved to Indiana.

On friday afternoon, I drove down to Santa Monica to meet up with Jess.  I was an hour early, so i parked and walked down to the beach to watch the sunset.  After the sun disapeared in the horizon jess called me and said her conference was over and she will meet me at her hotel.  Instead of walking to the car and driving, i decided to walk a few blocks to her hotel. We met up, took her lugage to the car, and of course go back to the Santa Monica Pier to go geocaching.  Sadly, there where only 3 caches in the area.  After we found the caches, we decided to head off home since we thought the traffic calmed down.  It was alittle bad, but we got home under 2 hours.  We stoped in Redlands to eat dinner at denny's.  Woot!

That night we begun to plan our main geocaching day on saturday.  Around 1 in the morning we noticed there were 2 geocaches that are brand new.  We decided to go find them, maybe we would be the First to find.  Sadly, someone else found both of them before us.  We got back home 2 in the morning and went to sleep.

The next morning, we woke up at 9 and finished planning our geocaching day.  We left at 11:30, and first went to have lunch at Subway.  After lunch we began to geocache.  We found geocaches all over highland, Mentone, Redlands, and San Bernardino.  Around 6 o' clock, we went home where I cooked us Fennichinni Alfredo with Broccoli.  After dinner, we went off to find more geocaches at night.  We finally got home around 11pm. The next morning, we woke up at 5:30, so i can take jess to Ontario Airport where her flight took off to go home.

We had an awesome weekend.  In total on friday we found 3 geocaches, and found 19 on Saturday.  Jess found a few more since we found some I have found in the past.
