2012 CA 4-H Winter Retreat at Lake Tahoe

Image
This past weekend, I had traveled up to the Nevada 4-H State Camp in Stateline, NV, (next door to South Lake Tahoe) for the 2012 CA 4-H Technology Leadership Team (TLT) and State Ambassador (SA) Winter Retreat.  At this retreat, both teams come together to network on the planning of the State Leadership Conference and the 4-H program, strengthen our leadership/teamwork/speaking skills, and to have separate team meetings to work on business.  If you recall to past blog posts of this event, it has been held the first weekend of January.  Due to people's availability, we had moved the event to the end of February.  Below is my experiences from this wonderful and refreshing weekend up in the Sierras. *Photo below of both teams at retreat* Friday, February 24, 2012      The trip starts like most other 4-H trips up north.  Wake up before the sunrise, get ready, get loaded in the car, and head to the Ontario Airport.  The flight up north was a very nice and relaxing flight.

The Saga Begins...again

I just got home from seeing Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menice in 3D. At first I was sceptical of seeing it in 3D due to past experiences with 3D movies. Example: after watching the movie Avatar, my eyes hurt (took time for eyes to readjust) ad got a headache. But, because I am a big Star Wars fan, I wasn't going to pass this chance. This movie in 3D was AMAZiNG! I really loved how Darth Maul looked with the added dimension. 3D was designed to add depth to the film, and it success. Many of the small details made were way more noticeable in 3D. I fell in love with Star Wars all over again (never lost the love of course), and I can't wait for the remaining 5 movies to arrive back in theaters. The two I am most excited for is Episode 3 and 6, those are my favorite :) I do have to say that I can't believe it has been 13 years since episode 1 originally came out. It was June 1999 that I saw the movie in theaters, right after my end of the year

Sarah and I break up again and for the final time

Note: This blog contains a small hint of sexual related topics.  If you are uncomfortable reading about it (don't worry, its just mentioned, no full details) then please don't read.  Grammar on this post is weak, but this was written as a free write style post, so bad grammar is expected.    So if you read past blog posts, you will know that Sarah and I had broken up and gotten back together.  I had given us another chance, and based off the title of this post, you will learn that we have broken up again, at the beginning of this week.      In the time between getting back together and now, I had flown her down here to spend a week at Christmas.  We went to San Diego for an overnight trip.  The trip was supposed to be amazing.  Would go to Sea World, have a great dinner, go to our nice hotel (right on the water front on the north end of San Diego Bay looking out at downtown) and have a romantic evening (planned to lose my virginity), wake up whenever, have a good breakfast,
