The Chronicles of John Trammell

     Spring break this year was March 23-31.  Plans didn't work out the way they were originally planned, but things went extremely well.  Originally, I was to be traveling to the Grand Canyon with Jane, her boyfriend, and another one of her friends.  That had gotten canceled.  Jane had learned her boyfriend has been cheating on her, and their relationship had ended.  I hate having things like this happen because I lost $10.00 when canceling the camping reservation, but I got over it.  A day after Jane and I had made the plans for the Grand Canyon, my cousin Amanda had asked if I was interested in going to Death Valley for my spring break to photograph star trails.  Since the trip had gotten canceled, I talked to Amanda, and we had started making plans for Death Valley.  Not a bad plan B.  Of course, this plan would not last long.  The weather was perfect, we knew where we where planning on taking photographs, and where we would camp but something would cause us to cancel the Death

     Over the weekend of March 8th, I had traveled to Yosemite National Park with my parents for a small mini vacation.  My mom is a teacher, and was on spring break.  It seems that each year, when she has spring break, my parents plan a trip.  Since I had transferred over to CSUSB, my spring break is not at the same time as my mom's school district's spring break.  This meant that my sister and I was unable to join them.  Two years ago, the parents traveled to Maine, and New Mexico last year.  This year my dad had found a good groupon deal for a two night stay at a loft condominium for Yosemite that had to be used between January and March 31.  After I pushed him to buy the deal, we had set the trip dates and I pushed for a weekend I was able to go.  With this, we went to Yosemite from Friday March 8 to Sunday March 10 (with a stay in Merced on Thursday March 7).  The trip was exactly what I needed, to get me a way from the stresses of school.  Finals are in two weeks, and mid
